Cole went to Rick Rennick's Art Class

Yesterday, Cole attended art class... his very first one (outside of school). His art teacher, Rick, is a well known portrait artist who is a natural at teaching children. You can find Rick Rennick's work on facebook-- really lovely paintings.

Rick had the kids copy some of his work, which were posted in front of the class, as one of the activities. Whoever gets closest to Rick's drawing(s) gets to bring home the original that Rick made. Cole was so excited to show us his handiwork... as you will see below.

As soon as we got home, Cole worked on his homework first... then showed off his art work...

Rick's drawing is on the left and Cole's is on the right... not bad, eh? (Proud mommy talking here... obviously)

I didn't want Harry to feel left out so I took pictures of him too... which he didn't seem to appreciate much. :)
